BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Dr. Albritton is a native Texan from the East Texas city of Tyler. He obtained his Associate in Arts degree from Tyler Junior College, and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. He completed his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) degree with four years of study at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, which is now named the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. He did his Residency Training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.

Dr. Albritton is:

He served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics of Hendrick Medical Center for the years 1991-92. Dr. Albritton is currently the Chief of Staff of Hendrick Center for Extended Care. He is an active member of the Texas and American Podiatric Medical Associations.

Dr. Albritton has been in private practice in Abilene since 1980, and attends patients at Hendrick Medical Center. He serves as a consultant in Podiatry and Foot Surgery for the Abilene State School and the Medical Care Mission of Abilene.

Dr. Albritton is active in Civic and Community affairs, and is a former member of the Southwest Abilene Rotary Club. He served as a Commissioner on both the Planning and Zoning Commission, as well as the Historical Landmarks Commission, for the city of Abilene.

Dr. Albritton keeps up to date on the newest techniques and research by attending numerous continuing education seminars and conventions relating to foot surgery and the medical field in general.
